Single Marine Program
What We Do
The Single Marine Program strengthens morale, promotes self-sufficiency, enhances communication, and develops future leaders through its three core components: Quality of Life Advocacy, Recreation, and Community Involvement.
Quality of Life Advocacy: The Single Marine Program identifies and addresses quality of life issues and initiatives through the SMP Council and Council meetings, empowering Marines to influence their living environment, morale, and personal development while supporting command readiness and retention.
Recreation: The Single Marine Program creates and supports recreational activities, events and trips that provide healthy leisure alternatives, enhance fitness, promote social and cultural engagement, develop life skills, and strengthen leadership through participant planning and execution.
Community Involvement: The Single Marine Program develops and supports volunteer activities that benefit the base and surrounding community, strengthen program recognition, and offer Marines a positive and meaningful way to use their leisure time.
