The Welcome Center offers a comfortable and accessible space for recruit families, featuring a lounge seating area, an MCX24, and guest services.
Guest Services
Guest Services is located inside the Welcome Center and provides mobility equipment rentals, general information, and assistance for recruit families. Staff are available to support guests from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Family Day and from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Graduation Day.
Mobility Equipment & Rentals
Mobility equipment is available to rent during your visit at MCRD San Diego. Equipment quantities are limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Available starting at 7:00 AM on Graduation Week Thursdays and Fridays.

MCX24
The Welcome Center also features an MCX24 with convenient access to snacks, drinks, and select hot prepared food items. Ready to Go Heat & Eat meals are available in limited quantities during lunchtime in the refrigerated section, with rotating options such as Beef & Broccoli, Chicken Malibu, Chicken Parmesan, Green Sauce Chicken Enchiladas, Jambalaya, Mac N Cheese, Meatloaf, Teriyaki Chicken, and BBQ Ribs.
