Monday, April 20 – Delayed Openings & Network Outage
A network outage from 6:00 am - 8:00 am on Monday, April 20 will impact multiple services. Due to this outage, the Marine Mart and Fuel Mart will open at 8:30 am.
Other services affected include, but are not limited to:
- MCX24s
- Automatic car wash
- Retail/fuel operations
Directions to MCRD San Diego
All visitor vehicles MUST enter through Gate 5 (Washington St.). Vehicles and personnel will be searched upon entry. Expect delays and plan accordingly. Gate 5 opens at 3:30 PM for Meet and Greet and 6:30 AM for Family Day and Graduation.

From the North: Drive south on Interstate 5. Take the Washington Street exit. At traffic light turn right onto Washington Street. Enter through Gate 5 – Washington Street.
From the South: Drive north on Interstate 5. Take the Washington Street exit. Turn left on Washington Street and continue straight ahead to MCRD Gate 5.
From the East: Drive I-8 West to I-5 South. Take the Washington Street exit. At traffic light turn right to MCRD Gate 5.
From the West (Point Loma): From Rosecrans Street in Point Loma, turn right onto Lytton Street; Lytton Street becomes Barnett Avenue. Drive past MCRD Gate 2 and Gate 4. Continue south, stay in right lane and turn right on Washington Street which will take you to MCRD Gate 5.
